Gianluigi GelmettiФранцузская редакция "Полиевкта", значительно отличающаяся от итальянской. В этой версии сюжет больше приближен к первоисточнику - трагедии Корнеля. Доницетти дописал много новой музыки (дуэт Полиевкта и Паолины, арию Феликса, балет, новую арию Полиевкта и т. д.), но кое-что и изъял.
К сожалению, выходило всего две записи этой оперы, обе с Генчер и Брузоном, причем Генчер в обеих не очень молода. Данная запись гораздо полнее варианта 75 года, к тому же сам Полиевкт здесь значительно лучше.
Запись выходила под лейблом Living Stage, но здесь предлагается копия с более раннего издания Legato. Увы, качество оставляет желать лучшего.
