Описание: Главная героиня сериала - доктор Темперанс Бреннан (Эмили Дешанель), блестящий судебный антрополог работает на ФБР, а в свободное время пишет романы. Темперанс владеет особым методом идентификации останков, что позволяет ей докапываться до истины и раскрывать преступления даже тогда, когда обычные методы криминалистики уже не действуют. В буквальном смысле слова она находит «ключи» к преступлениям в костях жертвы. Именно поэтому, возможно, ее часто привлекают к расследованию нераскрытых дел или дел с большим сроком давности.

Очень часто Темперанс приходится работать в паре со специальным агентом того же бюро Сили Бутом из отдела по расследованию убийств (Дэвид Бореаназ). Бут, бывший армейский снайпер, весьма скептический относится и к науке, и к ее представителям, презрительно называя их «очкарики». Его точка зрения на раскрытие преступлений весьма проста: узнать правду можно лишь используя старомодные методы ведения дел, т.е. «работая» с теми, кто жив, - свидетелями и подозреваемыми. Столкновение личных и профессиональных интересов героев сериала «Кости» проходит центральной темой во всех сериях.

When human remains are found alongside the railroad, Brennan and Booth are called to the case. The bones belong to Levi Yoder, a member of the Amish community who disappeared roughly two months prior to his Rumspringa, or exploration of the outside world. Brennan and Booth discover that Levi was a piano prodigy, and their investigation leads them to believe that his extraordinary talent may have lead him to an untimely death. Meanwhile, Cam copes with the stress that comes from being a new parent, and Booth helps keep Cam’s stepdaughter Michelle in line.
