Entre le cinéma et la danse, entre l'interprétation et la chorégraphie, entre New York et Los Angeles, entre les États-Unis et la France où il est né voici trente-cinq ans, entre le studio et la publicité, Benjamin Millepied n'a pas envie de choisir. Ou plutôt, son choix est justement d'être sur plusieurs terrains à la fois. Il ne court pas, il vole et décidément, tout lui sourit ! Pour les danseurs du Grand Théâtre de Genève, il signe Le Spectre de la Rose et Les Sylphides, deux pièces mythiques des Ballets russes qu'il revisite à sa façon. Ses Sylphides sont bondissantes, sa version du Spectre est étourdissante et inédite, pleine d'humour et de malice. Millepied compose là des partitions d'aujourd'hui, en conservant un certain romantisme mais parées de couleurs pop. Amoveo, créé initialement pour l'Opéra de Paris, décrypte les métamorphoses d'une histoire d'amour.
