В новой игре стал доступен новый режим — Campaigns, где игрок может сам руководить набором армий и походами на стратегических картах четырех кампаний. Достаточно передвинуть флажок армии на соседнюю территорию и начнется битва, если там есть противник. Впрочем, можно доверить вычислить результаты боя и компьютеру. Что конечно же, уже не так интересно, ведь Pike and Shot это прежде всего, увлекательные тактические сражения. Кстати говоря, и прежний (исторический) режим кампаний остался доступен.
